Breast Revision
“This lady has had saline\” textured\” implants placed in the subglandular position 17 years ago. She presented with Grade III ptosis (advanced droopiness) and Grade III capsular contracture due to the formation of tight scarring around her implants. The patients has moderate scoliosis. She underwent removal of her old implants which were noted to be intact with no evidence of rupture. Capsulectomy was performed to eliminate the tight scars around her old implants. Her 560 CC saline implants were exchanged for smooth 600 CC silicone implants. These were placed under the muscle. Bilateral circumareolar mastopexy was carried out to correct the droopiness. Her postoperative recovery was uneventful.\r\n\r\nFurther reading: http:\/\/journals.lww.com\/prsgo\/Fulltext\/2015\/01000\/Breast_Implant_associated_Anaplastic_Large_Cell.2.aspx”]
