Abdominoplasty: Severe diastasis with a central abdominal hernia

This 31 year old lady presented for a Mommy Makeover. The patient has five children following 4 pregnancies where the last pregnancy being twins. These pictures are part of the tummy tuck part of her procedure. She had severe diastasis (separation of her rectus muscles) along with a central abdominal hernia. These were repaired at the time of her surgery. liposuction to her hips and flanks was carried out at the same time. Her postoperative course was in eventful.
